Skagit Valley Packaging serves companies within a radius of approximately 200 to 220 kilometres, regardless of their size. Both small businesses and large corporations benefit from our customised packaging solutions. Our customers come from a wide range of industries: they include manufacturers of high-quality design and fibreboard used in the furniture industry, as well as companies that require heavy and complex components such as grey cast iron or ductile cast iron components. These special products are mainly used in the construction and agricultural machinery industry, the commercial vehicle sector, rail technology, mechanical engineering and hydraulics.

Our equipment – ready for any challenge
Our technical equipment allows us to efficiently implement even complex requirements. A large panel sawing system, various rip and cross-cut saws, and a Paul multi-blade saw enable precise cutting in the shortest possible time. This is complemented by several manual workstations, which give us maximum flexibility for individual adjustments. Transport is also in good hands with us: our own articulated lorry ensures that everything arrives safely and on time. With our two locations in Dürrenhofe and Gröditsch, we have sufficient capacity for coordinated, efficient production and storage. In Dürrenhofe, we have 10,000 square metres of land with a 2,500 square metre production hall at our disposal. In Gröditsch, we work on 27,000 square metres with an 8,000 square metre hall for production and storage. This infrastructure forms the foundation for our ability to reliably handle even the most demanding projects.

Skagit Valley Packaging was founded in 2009 by Ken Märting – at a time when economic uncertainty following the global financial crisis presented many with challenges. With just five employees, the company started out by taking over an existing business and its customer base. This bold decision laid the foundation for everything that exists today. The early days were marked by ups and downs.
